I travel the country for work & this is one of the best Econo's I've stayed in. Being in the area for work over the past 2 years, I've stayed here over 50 times & have never seen a bug in the rooms! The rooms are kept very clean. The heat & AC work great, water pressure & temp are good(theres a seperate knob to control temp), cable & wifi work great. Fridge & microwave also. I dont eat the breakfast(by choice) so I cant comment on it. The staff is very friendly & accomodating. They also work with us in the pilot car world since our schedule changes by the hour. And for the price, its the best place to stay in Amarillo!!
$80 on Tuesday night. Clean, roomy. Next to highway. Decent wifi. Microwave, coffeemaker, hairdryer. Fridge was barely cold. Limited breakfast: Cheerios, frosted flakes, milk, chocolate chip muffin, white toast, wheat toast, coffee, waffle maker.
We just stayed here for the 2nd time for another quick work trip. 1st time we stayed 3 nights, this time only one. The breakfast is very limited but we aren't big breakfast eaters so it's fine to us. Rooms were clean and comfortable. If you want a decent place to relax and get some sleep, you really can't beat the price!

This is a sparkling clean hotel with very friendly staff. It is not near much other than the Cracker Barrel, and that is the only drawback. It has decent coffee, toast, muffins and waffles for breakfast, and for the price, it is a huge hidden gem.
Had a great stay at the Econo Lodge Amarillo East. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s rest. For the price, it was a solid choice, and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend if you’re passing through Amarillo.
The staff here is very accommodating and professional. I had arrived for a late check-in and was very tired from my trip. When I got to my room, the AC wasn’t working properly. Within minutes after calling the front desk, someone came up and checked it out. To my surprise, they already had an extra room key and switched us to another room. The other room we went to was perfect and I got great sleep. Thanks for taking care of me and if I’m ever going back north I know where to stay.
We stayed here during our stopover between Utah and Austin. First time in an Econo Lodge, this isn’t my first choice for a Choice Hotel brand . I was impressed. Great value for the money. Hotel is outdated, could use some TLC, however, we paid $70 for our room so not bad. The breakfast is nothing to write home about. Attention to detail for cleaning would go a long way, just a tip.
